Hows the maple fretboard on these? I used to play Ibby's all the time, but never had the chance to play one with all maple.

this is a very simplified answer but basically a piezo system uses electricity to pickup string vibrations. Usually the piezo system are located in the bridge where the vibrations are more prevalent.
