ok, meet Choufke (named after a famous belgian beer)

She's german, presumably built in 1898 by W. August Kessler jr.
 
If you dont mind how much is that worth?
( dont know if you are allowed to ask this question,sorry if you're not)

don't know for sure, bought her for 2400€, insured her for 10K€ to be on the safe side, the truth will be somewhere in the middle :p

I bought the bass in december, and still have some costs ahead of me... there's a crack in the front (near the end of the tailpiece), and one of the seems opened up again... but nothing too serious

here are some picture of my basses

my customized fender P bass, birds eye maple neck with ebony fretbord (Jazz style neck), badass bridge, and Seymour Duncan quarter pounders pickups, changed the pick guard too.

this is a picture before i made the new modifications on my fender. i used to have EMGHZ in there but i took them out. i also did a little experiment with defreting the original neck, i didn't care for it so i bought a new neck.

Hey?! Do I smell bass project here? That thing is seriously screaming for Darkstars or some EMGs.

Your gonna convert it to where with a strap though - right? And if you need any help doing a relic job on that baby... or wait. No! Just go straight for the refin. Reranch has definitely got the colors you'll need.

Seriously. And don't forget the tort or the perloid pickguard. You seriously gotta go with the tort though.
