Here she is boys, thanks to Ron Lira of Honest Ron's Guitars in Oklahoma City! Completed and PERFECT!! A true replica from 95% true Fender '68 to '70 vintage parts .... a remake of the bass Carl Radle used to lay down the awesome tracks on the Derek and the Dominos 'Layla' album as well as many others. I have a link going on this already, just run a search on "Carl Radle" and you will see all the rebuild progress and photos of Carlp playing the original which is no where to be found. The TONE on this replica axe is perfect and to die for!

If you like the work on this project, feel free to email Ron Lira and express your appreciation for keeping his word on building this sweet axe to original specs, and also in timely fashion. Ron has been great to work with. His email: [email protected]

Good old Honest Ron's Crack Den....Good shop, and good guy. Last time I was there, they had a black Aria that looked just like Cliff Burton's.

The pics are all sideways cause I couldn't be bothered rotating them :ninja:

EDIT my 'I can't be bothered' for rotating is really, I'm too tired to try and work my computer >.>;;; *had to type edit 4 times before it was correct* just gimmie a shout if anyone wants rotated or bigger

Yamaha RBX170, my first bass and I still love it to bits, it has a sound I love

And I'm waiting for a Yamaha RBX4A2 in jet black to arrive XB

Man, that Edwards is VERY Lakland.

It's an Edwards version of an ESP Bardic, Tetsuya from L'Arc~en~Ciel signature model who also uses Lakland basses on tour but records with a Zon the last time I heard.

ESP basses he uses here Invalid Link Removed

EDIT just noticed ESP Japan had a Lakland link on their page but searching about it seems that there could be an ESP Lakland brand(???) where the Lakland Shoreline (not Skyline) are made by ESP for Lakland exclusively for sale in Japan...but no idea how much of this is true.

As for not rotating them if anyone wants me to rotate them I happily will but it's now just after one in the morning and I have to be up at 7 O_o but methinks I'll still be up at 2/3 if my sleeping patters are anything to go by XD and I actually spent about a minute looking for mistakes in my typing :hiding:
