How's the Godin compared to the Rob Allen?

Since the Rob Allen is fretless and has that "mwah" thing, it is a little hard to directly compare them. However, to me they do sound more similar than different, although the Godin has tone controls, and it can be eq'd in a lot of different ways. They also feel very different: the Godin is heavier, has a jazz neck (the RA feels much more like a P-bass neck) and has a farther reach because of the placement of the bridge on the body and the lack of an upper horn. However, I am very fond of both of them and I do think the Godin is a pretty good deal for about 1/3 the price of the RA. I play out much more with the Godin because I do feel more comfortable with the frets, and I am much less worried about it getting hurt.
