I know that there are guitars pictured here, but I don't have any pics right now with just the basses. Sad thing is, I don't even play guitar; I've just picked these up over the years and don't have the want/ need to sell any of them.

Nice! Is that one of their custom shop models? I'm always amazed at the range of "value" with this brand. So seeing one pop up on TB always carries a bit of intrigue.

Will it be a pleasant surprise or is it just a train wreck? :p

But seriously it's a nice looking bass. I like the clean lines and the les paul jr. feel. Is it this your first bass? If not your first, how does it compare to others you've tried?

Yes, it was actually al berry's bass and we worked out a trade. He plays for avril lavigne and some other big artists (Great guy btw). No not my first bass but definitely a very awesome bass. If I could compare it tonally to another bass I would say it sounds like a ric. A bit on the trebly side but nothing my bass amp EQ section can't correct. Amazingly fast neck and simple passive control knobs. I have a pbass and there's no question that the pbass has more thump BUT the overall feel/construction/tone is above my MIA pbass. The long neck took quite a while to get used it as I had never owned a long scale neck before but my fingers are feeling right at home now. Oh and I love the jack cassidy-ish look.

Wow, everybody's got these uber-nice guitars...

This is my 100$ Dean Edge (Yeah, I'm the poorer relations here!). It replaces a '74 Cahuenga that I worked my butt off at my first job to buy when I was 14, which got stolen a few years back. Anyway, it ain't much, but when you're scratching in the dirt for a few extra coins, you'll take what you can get. I play oldies, and the name "Chico II" is a tribute to Sha Na Na bassist Chico Ryan (R.I.P.), without whom I never would have touched a bass.

This is what I brought with me to college, but I also have a Brice J bass with DiMarzio's and my first Ibanez Jumpstart bass, now defretted and in pieces.
