As I know, it's allowed to post crappy pics....

But I have to show you my first real bass. Its a 1964 Precision bass, neck says 3-64.

I bought it with the Schaller bridge, also the Di Marzio-PUps have already been on it.

It's a shame, in 1979 this was only an old axe. And I bought it not because it was road worn, but even though it was in this shape, because it played so effortless.

The Star Bass looks super amazing in black! Where is it made? Warwick's site says there are german and korean models, but the ones I found online where a bit expensive for korean made ones.

It is a Pro Series Star Bass Made in Korea. Only the used Wood for the Body and some little things are not similar to the Star Bass Made in Germany. The hardware (incl. the pickups) are the same as from the much expensive German-made Star Basses...

Gold looks gawdy on so many basses.
But on the MM 2008 Limited Sequoia gold?

I have been gassing bad for the one for sale on TB right now.
Just worried about if I will like it or not?
The one selling is the higher priced german model.

Gotta love the EBMM Reflex...
Had a white and black Reflex 4 banger, and stupidly sold it...
Wish I kept it, it was a fantastic bass!

The Star Bass is a really versatile bass. I use this one for Slow and Hard Rock, some punk-thing and i like this bass for his woody sound on blues-Things. I think, it is not a bass for heavy metal...

Oh yes, the reflex is a very good bass. I like the full MM tone on the humbucker only, and the fat tone on the single coils.

And yes, on the Fenders and on the Warwick i played flatwound strings. Only the Reflex sounds badly with flats...
I m not sure about the flats on the WW, cause i think it would better sounds with rounds...

I have one amazing hollowbody ( U.S. Lakland HB with darkstars) and was considering the Star bass as a second possibly?
Sadly I bet the one selling here sells before I sell something to gather funds.
Maybe one day
