Great collection of shortscales! My favorite to play.
Info on those Jag basses? Are they refinned squiers?
I really like the blue jag, looks stunning
!

Thank you, all I have are shorties except for the medium Gretsch.
Yes, two Squier Jag SS. The burgundy mist has Alumitones, StellarTones, and much more. The blue is Gracey's Taos Turquoise. All that was done is refinish, pickguard, thumb rest, covers, and ToneStyler DualTone pot. Very light, about 2lbs lighter than the other one.

I may just use that blue on blue with white scheme on my old Hofner Icon now... If I ever get around to it, I'll post it here for you to see.

Ampeg Big Stud, from the estate of Karl Mueller (Soul Asylum.). As seen in the video for Without a Trace. Changed the weak neck pickup. Baseball bat neck, plywood body, but darn if it isn't my favorite bass. Until yesterday:

'94 ish MIJ Jazz '60's reissue. Haven't done enough research to find out exactly what is the deal with this one. Almost seems like a relic. Maybe the last owner beat the snot out of it. Great worn look, old sound with the flats on it. Big fun.

That is beautiful and I love the MIJ's.

Absolutly love that M.I.J. Jazz! Such a classic style. Beautiful example of the "Industry Standard"... Fender Jazz!

I've just bought a MIJ '93 P bass '62 reissue (to a very kind Talkbass user BTW :smug:) and what's more, in that very colours: fretboard, pickguard & body. The moment I arrived home & unpacked & 5 minutes I played on my Ampeg combo (nice couple they make), I totally fell in love. MIJ kicks serious ass. I had the chance to try it this weekend onstage also (see pic). WOW.

Very nice!

About 6 years ago, I had one. Just like that. MIJ p-bass '62 RI. Same colors (the best colors IMO) The best sounding P I have ever heard. Hands down. Should have never sold it. This time, however, I wanted the Jazz. I pee a little every time I pick it up. Hopefully I get over that.
