It really is, this one in particular I like because it seems much darker in the middle than others I've seen. It really pops under certain lights too.That blue color is insane !

I've been loving mine. As you saw in my NBD thread, I was an early buyer. It's still one of my favored players.
I favor greens myself. The Onyx Green Metallic Saint Soap, a Birch Green Player II and a Seafoam Green Sonic P.
Not sure if you noticed, mine was an early production model, with the dual rail humbucker under the solid cover. You seem to be enjoying the 'Tron slotted style pickup. Mine is still wearing a set of DR Pure Blues. I've been gradually changing my roundwound strung basses with GHS Round Core Bass Boomers.
My new to me '24 Fender American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass in seafoam green. I've already modded it by putting a brass grounding strap from the bridge to the pickup. Looking to do a couple more mods in the future.

what made you put a brass grounding strip on it?
i have a grounding strip on my CIJ 62 and i've thought about removing it so that the grounding is not visible...
I recently purchased a unfinished 1978 fretless P bass, original pickups and i just took off the bridge cover. (previously dark mocha but the owner sanded it down)
What would you do with this unfinished bass? Would love to hear ideas! If i didnt also own this Peavey T-40 i would probably not even worry about getting it refinished.
