It really is, this one in particular I like because it seems much darker in the middle than others I've seen. It really pops under certain lights too. That blue color is insane !![]()

It only took 3,241 (8 years 11 mos.) days to get to 900 pages starting on 10-2-2013 in this thread segment, and that was on 8-17-2022. Let's plan for the party..... I'll be about 70. I'll bring the Geritol.Keep it up boys, only 900 more pages until we hit 2112!
Nice familly and excellent pickguard on your EHB !
Leo's greatest hits, right there in a row. Nice! Many, many thanks to Mr. Clarence Leonidas "Leo" Fender (R.I.P.) !View attachment 7518797
I've been loving mine. As you saw in my NBD thread, I was an early buyer. It's still one of my favored players.I couldn't resist...
Bought an Ashdown roasted saint with a soapbar humbucker.
I had bought another one, in black, earlier this year, with a PJ configuration, and it has become my favourite bass ever since.
This one doesn't disappoint either.
That single pickup sounds very powerful.
The green isn't really my shade of colour, but, since my PJ version is black, I thought a different shade would make do. At least it's better than shrimp-ish pink. So.
This bass sounds so powerfull, I bet it screams for nylonwound flats, but the d'Addario rounds it came with sound decent.
That blue ibanez is cool what is that?
Dimarzio gang!Taking the twins out Saturday night for a gig.

lovely bass!My new to me '24 Fender American Vintage II 1966 Jazz Bass in seafoam green. I've already modded it by putting a brass grounding strap from the bridge to the pickup.
There's no finish whatsoever on that bass?I recently purchased a unfinished 1978 fretless P bass, original pickups and i just took off the bridge cover. (previously dark mocha but the owner sanded it down)
What would you do with this unfinished bass? Would love to hear ideas! If i didnt also own this Peavey T-40 i would probably not even worry about getting it refinished.
