This bass originally had a KTS bridge which I love and use on everything but it needed the BA . With the BA it's excellent . just those few extra oz. put it in the right place .How is the balance on this bad boy? With the single cut..

I love the BA but this is my second SC , the first was Maple and a good bit heavier and didn't need help for better balance . This is perfect though so it's a matter of a few oz. I don't think a bridge pup would be enough though . You could find another heavy bridge though . Armadillo maybe .Cool, I wonder if a rear pickup would have the same effect? You've got me looking at the Warmoth page now ha, just i really dont like the BAs.
Forgot the Fender in my latest fotoshoot, fixed it today

sorry I don't , I usually weigh everything too but those were custom order and they don't list their weights .Great thanks man. Can you remember the bodyweights of each build?? Cause the sc can have quite a range of weight from what I've seen online.
Appreciate you answering my incessant questioning ha!

It's based on Newsted's Elan as used in the '89 Seattle vid, combined with some of my personal preferences. - The neck profile is different, like his later Europa's. (His Elan has the classic taper with very tight stringspacing)SO JEALOUS! I've always loved Alembics and one day I shall own one, this picture is just perfection.
Also is that a Jason Newsted Elan in the middle left? Looks like it.

Wow! I honestly didn't expect that, like I said before i'm so jealous i'm just stuck with my ibanez as my main bass. It's based on Newsted's Elan as used in the '89 Seattle vid, combined with some of my personal preferences. - The neck profile is different, like his later Europa's. I wanted flame Maple neck laminates and went a bit berserk on the electronics. His Elan had three volumes and one Filter (before the Series II conversion) Mine has three Filters and a combination of pan pot and pickup selector.
