What is that you like about the bongo? There's something there. Guy's who use Bongo's Love Bongo's, it's not just another bass.

The Bongo is the one, if I have to decide quickly. The Bongo sounds smoother than a Stingray and this RW-neck feels perfect. I like how the bongo hangs in the belt. Without any neck-diving.

The reflex is unfamiliar to me but as much as I love stingrays I'd choose the bongo as well over it.
Can you give us a comparison to the reflex?

For a long time I played stingrays. I love that sound but I did not like the way the Stingray plays in the foreground of the sound. The Reflex is a really versatile bass, like the Big Al. Every pickup-position has it own sound. And you can mix each other! I like the sound of the middle pickup, it sounds like a Jazzy. The humbucker sound has more mids and less low-ends than the Stingray.

The B string sounds great though I'm not pleased with the gauge used by the previous owner, new strings are on their way. The sound is really clear on each string, definitely more than my $$.

What's cool about it is that each of my Wick does what the other can't.

Here’s mine! I love this bass!! SB4! A nice black and maple. I got it used and had to remove the previous owner’s DNA. Frets were perfect the factory had done a great job. Polished all the light scratches out and set it up. The pickguard was badly warped so I soaked it in hot water and then ironed out the wrinkles. I used an electric griddle on low as my ironing board placed the iron on low heat and put the pickguard between baking sheets. Be careful not to overheat the pickguard. Better to use a baking sheet like you would find in baking food.

That is one gorgeous, awesome sounding bass!

I've always wanted one, they are CRAZY expensive but worth every penny.

Put the precision pickups and electronics from my Aerodyne into my Squier II and painted the pickup covers to match the pick guard. Looks and sounds way better now.

I like black basses - no colors to get tired of.

My lefthanded Sire V7 Vintage, alder/maple and 3-way EQ. The pickups sound super-clean, which some people dislike and others dont. For my part, I always add a bit of dirt through pedals anyways so it works for me. The 20 small/medium frets took a bit to get used to, coming from Warwick and Spector with jumbos.
