Fender American Elite Jazz in tobacco - action shot.
Super beautifulView attachment 2936807
I love the Tobacco burst 4 string and fender decided to stop making it just as I ordered. I was pretty gutted really but opted to go for this version. It just arrived on Monday.
I thought GAS was chronic and incurable?!

This bass is my weapon of choice for 80´s heavymetal!
It´s ibanez dtb400bk destroyer.
I upgraded the stock pickups to the emg actives for extra firepower!
The bodyshape really screams metal, i think it might even be illegal in some states..
Neckdive? yeah a little, but that´s the price for coolness!
I guess it depends your playstyle but i think it´s comfortable.I really want one of these.
How is the horn/forearm interaction for your right arm? Comfortable or not?
Scientific Journal says...Don't get your hopes up , I wish he was completely free but I'm sure he's just in remission. I went into remission for about 4 weeks a year ago when I spent over $800.00 on a Schecter Michael Anthony . I wish I could be more optimistic of someone coming up with a real cure but it's been my experience over 30 years of Gas it's Cronic and don't believe any of the snake oil salesmen .

What's it like?
I love Jazz bass necks...
Yeah the neck is similar to j-bass necks, thin and fast. I ordered mine from thomann and the setup was pretty bad straight out of box, but few minor adjustments and it was ready to rock!I really could fall for that and there's a few ways to address the neck dive. Is the neck narrow and thin like most of their guitars ? I've been wanting to get some Red EMG's, they must sound even better than all the black sets I have.
It seems like you had a recent conversion from Rickenbacker to Fender?
