Have you already shared details on it anywhere here on tb?
I probably have, but still: it's a B2 Tetra from 2001, I replaced the pickups with Nordstrand NJ4s and the preamp with an Aguilar OBP-1. Has the Miller vibe all over it, but I think the rosewood fretboard tames it a little.

Nice collection! I grew up in Memphis. Went to Sheffield High School. Class of 77.
I..I...erm...I don't get it.

Dude you're prob the first on here with one of the new 32 Ibbys. How is it?

It sounds great, has a lot of zip. Can easily dial in an ATK sound, so I love it. Fret work is topnotch, tuning keys are solid and seem well built.

The only problems I have with this bass is that the color is supposed to be seafoam but I would call it more of a sparkle blue agave color.

My biggest gripe is with the neck.
*The back of the neck defiantly has rough patches. I can feel the differences when I move my hand around, Im sure it will buff out after playing it.
*I understand wood has knots and coloration, but the wood grain pattern on frets 5 and 7 always going to make me think its smudged.
*Also, Im not a huge fan of the neck being two pieces of wood. I don't think it makes a difference, but I feel like I am going to snap it where the wood is glued together. Im just paranoid about things though.

All considering I think its a good buy, very versatile sound. I had never played a 32 before, but I love it so comfy.

Just picked this Ibanez up yesterday. It's my first active bass, and damn. I'm really digging the EQ controls. Its so clear and articulate compared to my Epi short scale. I'm happy I finally have a second bass so I can start disassembling the Epi and make some fun modifications without being rushed to put it back together by the next gig.
