Built like a tank but has tone for days!

The nat wood bass in my profile has *two* of those triple-coil pups in it (with a MM neck to boot!) Love 'em!

  10. All of my basses have been built from parts. I put together the Warmoth first because I wanted a P bass with a jazz neck and the look below. Now I can't stop:) All have Dimarzio pups, Babicz bridge and Hipshot light weight tuners. From Left to Right
    1. Warmoth neck and body (P)
    2. Fender Geddy Lee neck with painted Fender Duff McKagen body (PJ)
    3. Fender Jaguar neck with Fender Geddy Lee body (J)
    4. Fender American Standard Jazz neck with Warmoth body (P)

Just got a chance to get a group shot with the new addition (Sonic Blue Broncostang)! Although still awaiting a Nordstrand custom ‘51 split coil for it... :bassist:

Semi-recent buy. MTD Grendel! I removed the barts and replaced them with the Aguilar 60s singles and passive jazz wiring with a series/parallel switch. An absolute killer and I can get the action around 1mm at the 12th so it plays like butter. Hasn't come on the road with me yet, but its seen a busy summer of gigging and I'm digging it. The only thing I think I would get rid of it for is if I find one of those 60th anniversary CAR Jazz basses

  15. I think it is a 66. I love the shape but they are uncomfortable to play...

  16. Now I have even more, but you are right, I have to find a better way to display them..

  17. I have been collecting since 1978, you can imagine...
