The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Ever since I saw the strange shape of the Non Reverse Thunderbird I was intrigued by it. Gibson and Epiphone don't make them anymore. Some smaller builders make versions, such as Lull and Cataldo. I decided to take a stab at it and I got it strung up last night. I'll probably do a NBD thread in the next couple of days but I thought I'd show it off here first.
Regardless of how it looks, it plays great so there's that. By using a Warwick bridge / tailpiece I was able to concoct a medium scale (32") bass that takes long scale strings. My new favorites, TI flats are on it and they just sing.

I used an already made neck and built the body from scratch. Naw I didn't document it enough to post a thread over there. I'll post some more when I do a NBD thread though. Thanks

How does she sound with the BA bridge?

Most of my Ps have stock bridges, but it sounds fine with the BA. I might switch back to the OG eventually but it’s got long term Jamersons on now and I’m in no rush to change anything. I may eventually be in a mood to put on the bridge ashtray cover (which of course doesn’t fit on the BA)

Added Stew-Mac tuners, CTS pots and a paper in oil tone capacitor, as well as a new jack, to my now 'fully modded' SX bass. I was surprised at the difference from the tone control capacitor.
