Well it will begin tonight... oh the temptation of working from home!
After you get a handle o Jeremy, you have a whole catalog of King's X to master!
Perhaps I will start with them. It might be easier.
Summerland by Kings X is a pretty straightforward song that you can build up to adding the fills. If you sing too its a great song for vocal harmonies as well.
Its no @fretno glamour shot but.... NBD!

I suspect it is a variation on Basswood.
It doesn't matter, it will soon be lovingly cocooned in various shades of epoxy! The point of this bass is to be a modding platform. I actually reached to Glarry to arrange this and I guess they "partnered" with me you could say...
I really hate that I have a business trip coming up (for multiple reasons).
I have to say, while the neck profile approaches baseball bat thick, the frets are very well dressed, soooooooo much better than the necks on my Solo kit basses. One of those had the sharpest fret ends I had ever seen.
Seriously, the neck is almost worth the price alone. Tuners are decent, Bridge, while serviceable will be ditched and, well the rest of my designs on this bass will be detailed in this thread:

I want to show a 2002 five string and a 2005 four string Razor neck through by dean.
I tend to sway a bit when I'm getting into it and I found the Razors to be something I can sling around a lot.

Those Dean Razor NT's punch WAYYY above their weight. Exceptional basses!

Sunday delivery NBD. Squier Jag 32" scale to be likely a mods platform for some time to come.
I had to do a double take at the 'vette.. That paint job is SO COOL.
It’s not NBD, it’s NSD...new strap day. 
I’d never used a ‘guitar’ strap (2 1/2” v 3”) until I got an Ibanez Mikro last year. The Mikro weighs Nada! This Hofner weighs less than That.
