That bottom one is super-rare, right? A Factor and NOT an Ex-Factor. Is it 32 or 34?
got this beautiful Jimmy Wilson Landing Bass on my birthday (12/30/21) , it's a 32" fretless. I am a novice fretless player but wanted to share some sound from it, so don't be harsh on the playing View attachment 4523170

Hello, and welcome! Nice bass!
I bought this one piece body in the early 80's when it was sold by DiMarzio, which was trying to break into the outboard parts market a la Schecter. Loaded with passive Aero I's, stack knob for each with a master volume that pulls up for series on a Padauk control plate. Warmoth Padauk J neck/Ebony fb

Thanks much. This body became my second "real" bass after a dozen years with my '70 Tele. Wore that body out with mods and got this one. Mounted the Tele neck on it and had 3 DiMarzio J's in it for a number of years. When it was finally time to resurrect the Tele it became this. I play it often, and it's the warmest sounding J I own.I adore this one![]()
