My first bass was a KB-1. As a stupid kid, I gave it to a friend when I got my Sting Ray. I’ve regretted that generosity ever since. Cool bass!

The KB is super fun, especially with flatwounds and an octave pedal.

It is sharp, isn't it? Dang, I treat my basses like Mr. Potato head and change them around every so often. This one lasted a few weeks and I never really bonded. Oh well.

Wow, what a nice piece of maple!

It's a burl, looks like some spalting in the center, curly figure around the edges, really nice!
