I just love it!:bassist:

I'm well aware that its intended for guitar but the low end on it is amazing, the mids are very punchy and the treble is right were i want it. I have to play guitar on it too which is really why i bought it.

Oh boy. Sound the alarms, retrieve your weapons.

There is a guitard on the loose.

@Shawman, as long as youre happy with your gear, thats all that matters. Personally, I hate rosewood necks. Your basses both have them. Do I like your basses? Yes. Would I own them? No. Should this change your opinion on them? No.

Oh very funny. I'm just helping my friend out for a while. his ska band lost their guitarist so i said hey i'll jump in untill you find a permanent replacement, its been 2 months and they have yet to find some one who would be a suitable replacement. When their guitarist left he took all of his gear so i had to buy my own. and thus the guitar amp

Ah, Shawman. Money has nothing to do with anything, at all.

Do you know why Jimi played his guitar the way he did? Because when he was a kid, thats all he had. Does it make him any less of a guitar player? No. Never.

Did JPJ, John Deacon, Gezzer, etc. record some of their best songs on a 12k Fodera? No. It was a simple Fender they got for dirt cheap back in the day.

Heck, the SX/Rondo brand is almost as widely owned here on Talkbass as Fender.. thats saying something!

Money doesnt buy happiness my friend, it just creates a false feeling.

@DRN-PWNS- Thats exactly what a guitard would say! Sound the alarms, year again!

thanks for the 2 above posts, actually just came back to edit the original post to add

they are both speacial to me, i meant it in the way that i've not spent vast amounts of money on my basses as some people on here have

i do love both my basses :) (even just looking at my schecter ;))

There was a TBer who had a twin to your Schecter, and was a in a national touring act, with a really fameous singer, and was dead happy with it, its a sweet bass far as I can tell.:bassist:

Knowing that you meant rosewood freatboard,I am really wondering how an actual rosewood neck would sound and feel :hiding:

Just got this Alleva Coppolo LG5 yesterday. Alder body, Maple neck, Indian Rosewood fingerboard. I'm really diggin' it a LOT. Posted a short review in the AC thread. Hope you don't mind the many pics. :)
