I totally want to buy a coffee table and slap a bridge, pickups and neck on it, just for the hell of it......

Who doesnt?

But here is my Stealth Lee:

I love this thing. Soon to have a plexi ramp, thanks to Darkstrike, and pup cover.

I started out with the Yamaha, and I gigged for a while with it. It's a really solid bass with a decent tone for being the cheapest model that Yamaha makes. Then I got my hands on the Peavey and it sounds incredible. The jazz bass was my first big name bass and the story of how I got it involves high explosives and a drunken friend. Then I got the Titan. I thought I got taken for a ride when I found out what kind of bass it was, but then I discovered it had been modified with EMG HZ pickups. So all in all, not too bad. Will post more when I get them.

The cat is an entirely different story.

lol funny stuff, nice basses and your cat looks just like mine

I love my Peavey Grind. I will never sell it. Period.

And the cat comment on that picture made me spit my drink all over the keyboard.

@Yellofuri: I will be getting tuners, and a BAII this summer to match the current Stealth look. But for now Im keeping it a nice stealth with hints of chrome. I have black screws in my cart at BassPartsResource already! ;)

The Hartkes are actually really nice strings. They are .45-.105, Slowounds Roundwounds. I really like them.

Nickel. They are really good strings. I used to use ONLY EB Slinkys, but when I bought the Geddy and got it set up at my local mom and pops all they had was these Hartkes. I was worried.. but they play and sound great.

Nice!

I much prefer nickle, or nickle plated, raw steel is just too clanky, and rough on frets.

Bass Parts Resource is dangerous
especially since they take Paypal
I have been known to make random impulse buys from there
