Like I said, they're all cheapies-- MIJ Squier P-bass, MIM Fender Jazz, '80's Peavey Fury I, and MIK Epi T-bird. Just bought the latter two within the last 6 months (T-bird last Friday).

Even though I wish to own at least one of every bass before I die, Im defnitely a hard core Fender fan.
I'm with you, i've tried most makes, owned a few, been good basses, but i'm always drawn back to Fender...
I bet they sound even better with ramps!

Sorry about that dude, should be keeping you more updated, I'm having trouble with the drillholes, I'll be getting new ones tomorrow.
The bits I have are fine for small pickup screws, but I have none to the large Fender size.
I also have to go slower doing it, as I can't dry fit it, and adjust as I go.

Actually, for now its gonna be bare bones, but later, I'm getting a few pickups, and switches and such, gonna cop a Roscoe Beck vibe, tappable JJ pickups, fully passive. But that part might not happen for a long time.
From what I hear, the Epi is actually better than the Gibson, same woods, Korina, better pickup layout, and full scale compared to Gibsons shortscale.

Yeah the longscale is a nice addition. That's why I got that other Gibson there. I hate how almost all Gibson basses have shortscale necks. Kept my eye out, saw that at a show, picked it up, and it rocks. It's totally Gibson's fault for forcing me to go vintage. Not that vintage is a bad thing
