WVbass, the first P-bass you posted has awesome grain on it!

Its a beautiful P bass. Its a 74, but, unfortunately the neck and body are about all that's left of the original bass. I bought the pieces and put it back together in the late '80s.

I learned something today! And now my quota is filled and I can go back to bed. Thank you!

That is my current baby! Its a 1998 Lakland 9-94, to be exact.

Hey! I have said this too many times in this thread. Ill change my words to one posted by a fellow TBer, whom I cant remember his name.

Your basses may not be the most expensive, but theyre your basses. Remember that.

wow, thats really wise!

I never thought of it like that, but its true, the BC rich is being passed down my family uncle to nephew, so I got that free, and I got the fender as a gift.

WAIT!!! im off too sell my fender for a million dollars, see ya!

Basskid, your favorite band is The Toadies. Thats not something I see everyday!

In reality, any rock band from the 90's is my favorite (AIC, Nirvana, Cracker, STP, ECT) but I feel The Toadies is a very underrated band that needs to be introduced so people stop listening to this My Chemical Romance-Fall Out Boy-New Age-untalented-crappy rock music crap..

You think me liking The Toadies is somthing, I'm actually a true Alice In Chains fan. I don't listen to Man In The Box and Rooster back to back all day. :D I own all their early albums (Facelift, Jar Of Flies and Dirt).

Oh and I don't listen to Possum Kingdom all day either :bassist:

Infamus, reading through your bio you have a nice setup. Thought I would compliment you.

thank you :)
IMO,it's nothing spectacular.just rather intermediate equipment;and i'm a pretty budget guy,so it doesn't cost that much.i'm sure your geddy is wayyyy better than my thunderbird :D.i saw it on that vid you posted a while back,it sounded pretty nice btw

As I said to BassKid, a great qoute comes to mind:

A bass is only worth what its worth to you.
