Here's the current collection.
1980 Rickenbacker 4001 Fretless & a brand new MusicMan Sterling HS.
It's fun having these two basses. They represent two extremes to me. I can play soulful fretless bass for much of a gig, and then I break out the MM and I'm slapping up a storm.

As I've mentioned on my other post, 100% original (checked it to the lowest details), except the nut (I think is graphite instead of Fender's original bone or micarta).

My basses, nothing fancy or fabulous, on the other hand not too shabby for a non-pro, hobbyist, jam-around-the-house player.
'07 MIA Fender Jazz Bass, 3 tone sunburst, rosewood, tort guard replaces white original.

Heavily modded Fernandes Retrospect 5 (my main player). Unfortunately, I don't have the skills to photograph the mirrored pickguard in a way that really shows it off:

'97 Warwick Thumb BO5. I picked it up in May 2008 after a friend of mine who works at Guitar Center called me, saying he got it in as a trade. He said it was a 2007, but after seeing the wenge neck I looked at the date and it was actually from ten years earlier. I love everything about it; however, my main issue is finding a set of strings that fit it properly!
'96 Warwick Flashback 5. I got this bass in Sept. 2008 in a trade for my old Flashback 4-string. It's a great bass with a unique neck, it's flatter than most Warwicks. The electronics are very powerful for an all-passive bass.
'96 Warwick Thumb NT4- After selling off most of a giant rig I no longer need, I bought this from fellow TB'er TateEvan in January. It's an amazing instrument capable of a huge variety of tones, and each tone in and of itself is huge. I never thought I'd buy another 4-string bass, but this thing is amazing!
'95 Warwick Fortress One 5- This was my first Warwick; I bought it in Feb. 2008. It plays great, but I really want to install some better electronics.
'86 EBMM Stingray- This was my first high-end bass and still my main instrument; I found/bought it when I graduated high school in May 2007. It's got a lot of mojo, but it's easily the most comfortable bass I own. It's a transistional-era bass identical to a pre-EB but with a small "Ernie Ball" logo over the original logo. It's pretty much a part of me now
'04 Fender Standard Jazz- This was my second bass; I bought it new in June 2005 after my cheap beginner bass's neck warped. It's been through a lot of modifications, and although I've aquired some really nice axes, I could never see myself parting with it. Like the Stingray, it's very comfortable to play.

This was my first bass and what I learned on. '79 Ric in Autumn-Glo. I paid $330 for it off a college buddy. Signed by Mike Watt and went through a house fire before I bought it (see headstock). Signature was faded so I had Watt sign it again after seeing a gig he played in Orlando. That was 11 years ago. Now both signatures are gone.
This thing is a mutt. I need help ID'ing this - Gibson SB350 or SB400? Slab SG style body. Nothing on it is original.
I always wanted an old Dano. I guess a single cutaway like this is rare. Usually they have a Silvertone branded "dolphin" headstock. This one has a Danelectro branded "coke bottle" headstock. This was made by Dan Armstrong when Ampeg had the rights to the Danelectro name, so I'm guessing this is a '69 or '70.
I bought this about a year ago. I like the finish - "Commie Red." Sometimes I'll gig this out. I've got flatwounds on it and it sounds great.

2007 Aerodyne Jazz Bass. This is now my main bass. The guy who sold it to me on ebay said it's a Japanese non-import model hence the finish. Most of the time these are all black with a cream colored binding. It does look very cool and it sounds great.
And... this one's my favorite. This was my main bass until I got the infinitely more reliable Fender above. This thing is f'd. Intonation is so out of whack I had to stop using it. I really pissed off my bandmates when I brought it in for a recording. Still I love it. Fun bass to noodle around with and throw around the house.

Thanks. It sounds great. Real nice vibrant tone and sounded killer when I'd play it hard. I'd like to get the intonation right again, but I don't know how.

A US made, reverse headstock snakeskin gunslinger bass with EMG pickups.
I got this thing off of ebay in horrible condition and with the wrong neck.
After lots of money and work its now the best sounding bass Ive ever owned. Hands down. The band refuses to let me play anything else.

Now you just need a couple of hippie sandwich examples from the 80's with the swiss army knife electronics, maybe like a Bich and an Eagle.
Ive been trying to get my hands on a Eagle for a while now.
And one of the BC Rich styles that has never been something I like is indeed the Bich.
