My custom Tele. Bad photo sorry.
Hollow alder with reverse headstock and reverse vintage tuners.
Wow - that is SUCH a cool Tele! Very original, and everything about it looks "right", despite it being a unique design. What a gorgeous bass!
Did you order it from the Fender custom shop, or did you put it together yourself (or have somebody put it together for you) from parts? Either way, it is a very sweet bass - congratulations!

Why thank you. I'm very happy with the way it turned out.
I had the body and neck custom made for me to my specs and I put it together.
I've always liked the Tele "guitar" shape body and wanted a reverse headstock.
It's not neck heavy but as theres no top horn, she sits more to the left than I'm used to.
If I'm not careful, I play sharp.

I'm assuming the switch controls some sort of preset-based preamp, since it just has one pickup. Also, is that a 51p pickup?
I posted this thread elsewhere to illustrate the project.

No neckdive. I used the double strap buttons as used by G&L ASAT versions. The 51 P pickup was installed into a tele guitar bridge plate with the aid of this adapter:

The switch positions are kill, tone/volume & pure pickup. The pickguard was shaped as it is because a reguler Tele unit covers the F-hole so i cut down a Pbass guard to shape
