All of the electronics are legit MEC brand, just like a real Warwick.

The hardware is legit Warwick brand, just like a real Warwick.

The build quality, fit/finish, and quality of materials on the rock basses is top notch.

I have a rock bass and absolutely love it. I have a German Warwick that doesn't get near as much lovin.

i was hoping for something decent when i bought it. i got that and a heck of a lot more. i owned a corvette rb at one point and didnt like it. didnt like the sound at all. but the fortress, man, that thing just sings. when i listen to ww artists that have the german models, i can get super close to their tone as far as growl and grunt goes. it's all there.

I am try to find out more about this bass .Its a 2005 German Corvette Standard proline but the part that's driving me crazy is the solid flame maple body front and back and can't find anything about it.Retail,value,rarity.This is not a flame top its the whole body.I need help.

shoot warwick an email with serial number, they should be able to help with info on the bass. wont be able to help with value probably, but they can let you know if was custom probably.

I have owned several corvette proline bass guitars. The proline has active pickups and electronics, a 2 piece flame maple body, and generally gold hardware. The street price is between 6-800.

I've seen the ash body before but when did they do the Flame and for how long?I can't find anything on the web on this particular one with this body.No pics, info,nothing.Why did they stop making them because the wood is awesome.Someone told me it was costing more to make this one then they were selling it for so they stopped.Thank-you for your help.Did you have one of these?

It's not a custom, it's just a Warwick Corvette Proline. Not the new Proline Series made in Korea. In the early to mid 2000's they made the Corvette Proline which was a Corvette Standard with flame maple body (full body, not cap or veneer).

I wouldn't say the Corvette Proline is necessarily a rare nor common instrument. It's about on par with most Warwick's, maybe a little more common than Streamers and Thumbs due to the affordability of Corvette's. Definitely an overall good bass, and a great intro into the world of German made Warwicks.

You guys are so good at identifying bass that I was hoping you could give mine a go. The only info I can find on this bass was by running the serial number. It showed it as a 2002 Corvette Standard. It has a 1 inch Bubinga top and Alder back. I can't find any information or pictures of anything like it. I really want a 5 string to match. Thanks

It is a GC exclusive special edition Corvette Jazzman.


On the corvette proline, I believe they started in 1994 as all ash and moved to being 2 piece flamed maple, similar to the fortress master man. I have owned 3 and they were all phenomenal. If they has slimmer necks I would probably still have them.

I'm the owner of the corvette proline maple flamed with satin finish. Seems to me these are some low ball prices. Link Removed here is one at the price they should sale for. At one point on warwick a site it had this bass as a custom order. They retailed for 2400.00. Why are people just letting these go. They are great basses with aaaa flamed maple and built in Germany.

And the flame body's on corvettes are not that common. There were more of the standard warwick corvettes than the flame maple. They had only put these out just a few various times being for the reason for it being so hard to find the info. If they were common it wouldn't be so hard to find info on them
