No. I don't. It has all the elements you'll need in it. I only use it and my thumb is fine after using it. You should be too.
Hey Shaun!! I think as long as you are using some kind of good wax for it, you shouldnt need the Warwick wax. I have owned a bunch of Wicks and at times didnt have the Wick wax and just used something else.
How do you apply the Howard's? Same as the Warwick wax? Apply, let dry then buff it off ? Will the Howard's bring out the wood grain and give it a nice shine.

I lightly used some lemon oil made by Peavey. I dont know if they make it anymore. I used it for fretboards also. It worked great for the Warwick wenge fretboards.
Like I said though, it was really light on the bass itself. It was a liquid compared to the Warwick stuff being actual wax. So I treaded real easy with the amount I used and then wiped real good. But man, they looked great afterwards.

The bass is from August 96, and it is likely a Warwick Corvette Standard, which have been produced as of 95 and followed the Corvette Proline (as of 92).

This '02 Thumb NT4 is only 8.75 lbs/4 kg, 19mm string spacing, slim C neck, and after new HS Ultralite tuners...the balance is quite good! Also, sanded out body indentations from the previous owner, applied Howard's Feed and Wax, and new EMP light strings...good to go!
I've really missed having the iconic Thumb tone option in my (4-bass only) stable, and the 4-string Thumb PU placement was always my fav...

I went about 5 years without a Warwick... until I found this one and couldn't pass it up... a 1993...
What mid frequency do I need to boost on my amp to get more mid burp from my bridge pickup from a Corvette 5?

Hey folks, finally joined the Warwick Club!
Went a bit crazy when the distributor for Warwick here is Australia had a clearance and warehouse sale of all stock. Overall, I paid 21% of the listed prices.
Waiting on the basses and amp to arrive but now am the proud owner of:
Bootsy Collins Spacebass
Pro Series Streamer LX
LWA500
Hellborg 212
and lots of other small bits and pieces.
