I've been wannting to do some experimenting with some drop tuning on my Warwick $$ Corvette Rockbass, the plan is to tune to BEAD. What gauges am I looking for to achieve that? And what type of setup is required?

Try using a five string set minus the high string....seriously, you can also get steel strings gauged 55-115 and try that

Scored this at a local GC today. Looks to have been custom ordered. Ive never seen a cherry thumb bass. Also has lined fretless epoxy board.
My first Warwick and man am I impressed
The guy that sold it to GC brought it in in a old Peavey hard case. I was kinda bummed about that.
I told the guy it would take 5 minutes to go home and get the cash. When I got back, he had found an old Warwick gig bag in the back for me. man was I happy about that. Those are cool cases.
It is a bolt on, but has 6 screws on the neck. Ive only seen them with 4
Can you look up the history of the bass by the serial # ?

You can look up the history of the bass on the Warwick website, but only if it was made in Germany.
that looks like a neck thru. can you post a pic of the fretboard and back of the bass including the back of the headstock?
I checked the serial # and it just said it was made in 2000 ovankol oiled body and wenge neck. Said nothing of the cherry finish or fretless epoxy.
The cherry finish is on the back of the neck and full body and looks like high gloss finish,
Wonder if someone would have gone thru all the trouble to have all that done. Looks perfect. If it was a fretless conversion, it looks perfect to.
Really impressed with the craftsmanship on these baby's. Like how that body curves
Played it all afternoon very happy. And yes I will get some pics up of the back

it's very cool. first time I've seen a neck joint like that on a bolt on Warwick other than the bolt on dolphin.
