No problem...


Essentially they are the same bass.

Afzelia body, ovangkol/afzelia neck, ebony board and white paint job.

One has black dots and Warwick 'W'; they are silver on the other bass. One has Sims LEDs and the other has Warwick LEDs.

The main difference however (and the reason there are two) is that one sustained a crack to the body near the control cavity while I was on tour. It's mainly cosmetic (the bass sounds great); but a crack on a bass with such a 'pure' finish significantly reduces its value... I could never sell it now.

Warwick was kind enough to build me a replacement.

Hey guys. I have an '88 THumb NT4 with small dots on the fingerboard face. I have about 200 pics of warwicks on my comp and just noticed that out of all of them i was only able to find 4 Thumbs with the small fboard dots. I saw numerous basses with the other availiable inlays but only four Thumb Basses with dots. the THumbs i found were from '88 (mine)

I am just trying to figure out if the dots were an older standard feature that was on older Wick's or if this was a custom shop addition. Any info or tips would be great. thanks

What would you all say are some good amp/cabinet pairings to bring out the Warwicks' inherent growly characteristics?

I play mostly rock and some alt/folk/indie stuff.

Just picked up my third Corvette this week (standard 4 fretless, used). I'm done GASing for basses and effects. Now I just have to get my amps and cabs in order...

I love my warwick through my Mesa gear. I don't own a walkabout scout but I played mine through one for a while and it was awesome. I run it through a BB750 and 610 cab.. It growls and snarls like you wouldn't believe.

I love the Streamers. Are there any big differences between them and the Spectors they draw their inspiration from?

I may be wrong here but is it a compound radius neck? I don't know enough about Streamers to answer your question definitively, but chances are they are common on Streamers.

Um, I'm not sure. That description sounds like it might fit what I played. The Warwick site hasn't any info about it, and besides your message and one other, no one's addressed it. I'm saving my money. I'm gonna buy one of those Streamers. I'm still impressed.
