Hey I was wondering if anyone in this thread has any knowledge on where to start a repair on a Warwick Fet IV head? It's showing the signal and the mute relay isn't kicking it off but I'm still not recieving any output. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks

For those that changed out your MEC jazz pickups....waht do you recommend? Barts? Can you keep the Warwick/MEC preamp and just wire in some new pickups?
I have a set of Fender Noiseless, can I use those or are they too hot?
-Thanks

hey guys,
i got myself a streamer jazzman 4 string. i think it is a late 90'? (maybe some one can give me a hand to figure out the exact date). bubinga top with an ash back and a wenge neck.i had been saving money from my weekend job when i was about 16. (which took me ages to get warwick $$ together).i remember walking into the store and on a wall that had about 50 basses on it but i didnt even notice any of the others. i plyed it in the store for about 2 hours and with the help of my dad i ended up getting an awesome deal.since then i have wanted to buy another one but i couldnt find one that felt like it. beautiful. ill put some pics up soon. i'd really like to get a neck through streamer 5 or six. one day.warwicks arent easy to come by in australia. well not in sydney anyway.

cheers. jb

hahaha. not really. well, billy hydes are no longer a dealer and i believe that the guitar shop in paddington are now the distributor, there is a few litttle shops that have them but i dunno. i bought mine used and am currently ripping all the electronics out of it... :)

Here is my 1998 Corvette standard 5 - just picked this up in a trade from a fellow TBer. My 4 string is getting neglected lately but I just can't leave this bass alone :)
The wenge\wenge neck is just unbelievable.
peace,
Brian

DW--I'll try uploading this pic once again. Sorry I missed it the first time. This is my Corvette Standard 5-String. It is one awesome bass paired up with the Eden rig; I absolutely love it. Wouldn't trade it for anything. Now, I just might add another Wick at some point, but that's another matter. :hyper:

Thanks!
