For some bizarre reason, I’ve got a deep need for purple pedals. I have three of these four, and the Grape Phaser is moving up my shopping list pretty fast.

I've got a little something in Grey, myself. Just getting started building these (my design), but I'm concerned about the name Katana. I can tell you, I took neither inspiration from, nor does the circuit bear any resemblance to the Boss and Keeley products; which of course begs the question "does it matter?", the fact that there are two others already (Boss & Keeley).

I can play with or without shoes, I just have to be mindful enough not to push with my feet what was designed to be moved with my hands, like anything else! 
It is just extremely important for me that the Fuzz goes first in the chain

FENRIS by Fjord Fuzz and DRAUME by Pladask Elektrisk
An unintentionally Norwegian pedal summit today.
I'm pretty sure that newly FENRIS is my favorite all-around fuzz pedal. I still love the others for their comparatively specialized strengths, but FENRIS seems to win as a generalist. For bass or guitar it enables a wide array of textures and timbres, plus excellent touch sensitivity and clean-up.
DRAUME's ability to create impressionistic sounds can, in its extremes, make playing it feel like having mood swings.
Each of these pedals is a beast. Together they sound wonderful. Go, Norway!

FENRIS by Fjord Fuzz and Blueberry Bass Overdrive Futura by BJFe
By enough to matter, I preferred Blueberry Futura driving FENRIS, rather than the reverse. Extra texture and midrange resonance. Just enough. FENRIS continues to amaze: so many sonic possibilites for bass guitar.
FREI and ODIN by Fjord Fuzz
Not shown here, but I found FREI driving ODIN to be more useful. FREI is a beautiful-, bold-, and hyped-sounding vibe pedal whose volume boost when engaged cannot be adjusted. ODIN is a discrete octave up fuzz. Especially with the octave disengaged, ODIN's fuzz reins in FREI's volume while tastily texturizing its sweep.

I couldn’t decide which photogenic pedals to shoot, so I just shot the whole board. Maybe some individual reposts here…
