Surprisingly good with bass. Although the EQ is not as useful with bass as with guitar, the same range of textures (saturation and dynamics) applies. The magic is in the non-linear behavior of the gain control; and that in all variations of the settings, the character of the instrument's sound is preserved. I experienced this will both guitar and bass. Elegant, hi-fi dirt.

The Zoom is, of course, a multieffect, but it has tons of delay effects built-in, so I threw it in with the rest.
