So as we sit staring at the walls, we struggle with various electronic devices to maintain a shred of sanity and grasp for things to fight off the monotony, alternating between looking out the window at the forbidden world we once roamed freely and the streaming services that now madden us. The bass and other instruments beckon us to play them, to practice, to visit the much neglected woodshed, and yet we search for more...
...so I've been photographing things. Basses and guitars of course, but how about pedals? I like cool-looking pedals but I'm trying hard to make good photos of them, and it's difficult. Unlike basses, pedals are not sculpted pieces of wood with nice finishes; they are little boxes, usually made of metal, meant to be literally trod under foot. They might have cool paint jobs but they still have that utilitarian look to them. So I do the best I can with what I have, but maybe you can do better?
