And since we're on pink pedals, this Earthquaker Devices Rainbow Machine came in pink, too, though it's not nearly as shocking neon pink as the Grazer.

These pedals remind me of contemporary microbrew beer cans and bottles.
Interesting comparison. I guess there might be a parallel between the culture of boutique pedal makers and microbrewers.
Can't say it's a ridiculous idea to just take pictures of pedals because you like looking at them... I mean, I like taking pictures of railroad crossings, and that's far more indicative of a loser.

Normally I shoot black and white film, but the darkroom I use has been closed for the virus scare, but you've given me a mission: I'm going to try and shoot some pedals in black and white film and print them when I can.

I've done some mod o reduce noise on my Boss GE, but yours is over the top : Panasonic film caps, silver mica caps & are those BB opamps ? How's the result ?
great pics! besides being easy on the eyes, how do you like the Meteore and Beautiful Sleeper?
The Meteore is great, but it's anything but subtle, so if you're looking for an all-purpose reverb it's not the answer. I love the feedback switch feature and it had gotten fairly regular use with my band live.
The Sleeper is nice, especially if you like the lo fi sound of it. Compared to, say, a Boss DD-7 delay, the Sleeper seems to "slur" the sound quite a bit. The square wave fuzz feature is less useful to me on bass, but it's there if you need it and I've gotten some use out of it with my synths.

I'm never going to be a professional photographer, but this picture is cool for other reasons. You know that P-bass you bought in pristine condition 30 years ago and played the paint right off of? This is the pedal equivalent. I bought this around 1990. Dig these battle scars!
Well, it's blurry and the pedal is not exactly winning any beauty contests, but it's functional. So this is like a punk version of a pedal photo.
Okay, I couldn't resist.... This is an easy one! LOL
(for the record, I voted for "see cool pedals" though!)

On a more serious note to go along with the actual thread... It's not an individual shot, but hopefully it still qualifies. This is my board from 3 years ago, I was messing with lights and my fisheye lens for some other stuff, then decided to get the board in front of the camera just for fun. My goodness, how my board has changed!

Nice. I think it needs to be bigger and have more controls, though. A couple of toggle switches, one for "P-bass" and another for "tort".
Also a "band drama" knob.
