I just bought this bass used from a very cool guy and it was in like-new conditionl!

The bass is amazing... sounds absolutely ridiculous and sets up like a dream. I feel really, REALLY lucky that I stumbled across this deal. These do NOT come up often in lefty and they are NEVER in this great of shape.
Anyway, I have a couple of quick questions for the experts.
1.) Both of the internal mid-boost trim pots were turned down all the way, which basically made the boost switch do nothing. I messed around with them a little bit and came up with a setting I think I like, but I was wondering if there is typical factory setting for these? Like one is at noon and the other is at 3 or something?
2.) I've seen Pedulla MVP's and Buzz basses come with the bridge that's like mine, or the Hipshot A-style bridge. Is there something specific that determines which bridge you get on your bass or is that part of the ordering process? Is the brindge on my bass and the A-style bridge interchangeable?

. I like that color too ! Lol.There was a thread about the pot settings somewhere. You can just call Christine at Pedulla and she will probably get you the info. They are great there.
I like the bridge we have best. It allows you to skooch the spacing around a little bit. I like to keep my G String away from the edge a little bit as I have a tendency to pull the strings off a little bit.

Does anyone have a Buzz or Pentabuzz under 9 lbs? I'm just wondering if it's possible to get a relatively lightweight one. My MVP6 is quite heavy.
I've never seen one listed UNDER 9lbs...but I'll get mine weighed at the post office on Friday morning
Hello peddulla lovers! I'd love to know if my old thunder bass is still around and killing it!i had to let it go about 10 years ago and have regretted it every day. Don't have any pix handy but if anyone comes across an ET5 Thunderbass with a aaa curly maple top,neck through, serial # 4481, I'd love to see it and find out where it's been and done all these years.. I bought it new in '95 in Waterbury ct. And sold it there as well .
Was and hopefully is still a bass players dream.
Pedulla's are really special instruments and hold a place in my heart, more so than any other basses I've ever played.

I just remembered that Leon has an extremely light Buzz but that's the only one I've encountered.
I think mine is "freak of nature" light. Most I've seen seem to be in the 9 - 10 lbs range. I'll put it on a scale later today.
Even though it's light, it has nice tone. Warmer than I remember but my strings could have a lot to do with that. I do think it's going to need it's neck recoated though. Some of the "fret" markers are raising up. Per Pedulla's FAQ, the fix is a recoat.

It may have made some rounds but it finally has a home. With this addition there are no tones on bass I can't cover. Pedulla necks maybe the best I ever played.
