As you probably figured out deremate is an argentine/ latin american version of ebay. I'm not really sure if the seller is the actual luthier, i think so but it's not specified, it's probably either him or somebody selling stuff for him, since he's got other basses for sale, at least one more similar to the mvp:

The guy is not claiming the bass is a pedulla, he is saying the model's name is pedulla, he probably doesn't know it's mvp.
I've never heard of this luthier before, but i know of at least a couple of well known luthiers here in argentina making copies of the mvp. Here's another link for you to check:

I've no idea of the quality, never played them, never actually seen one. And I've only seen 2 other actuall pedullas other than mine here in argentina.

I think the Thunderbolt is an amazing bass. I've played a few and they have a very supple high end that isn't as bright as the Thunderbass. It's like it has more of a Lo-Fi vibe to it. You can tell it would sit well in a classic rock band, or the like. My next Pedulla will be a 6 string 19mm Thunderbolt with a Cocobolo Top and a Birdseye fingerboard. It will be a nice contrast to my MVP-6.

haha, i was wondering if you would notice that, and i was thinking it looked like ash too...now i've got the best of both worlds, spector and pedulla :) how's the my old NS-JH5 treating you??

I totally love it..I miss my stolen ash one, but this is certainly wonderful, and is, like my old one, my 1st call 5-er.

So as not to drive this wonderful pedulla thread into the weeds I should prolly cough up some pix of my babies. I've been playing Pedulla 4's since the early 90's and currently have a '98 buzz unlined J/J and a '99 Thunderbass in solid (not laminated top) 5A pumpkin-amber quilt. Very sweet basses indeedly..
I used to have a wonderful old MVP-5, but it popped a sacrifice fly to center to help drive the tiger jh-5 home..
