I use the FullTone Bass Drive Mosfet pedal, I like it a lot. I have been using it for over 10 tears now and feel it dose the trick.

Finally some one speaks the truth! I love all five off mine!I use the FullTone Bass Drive Mosfet pedal, I like it a lot. I have been using it for over 10 tears now and feel it dose the trick.
It's the only OD in the pedal that I like - I hate "colored" OD's.Wow, the Zoom has a modeled BB in it? That's pretty cool!
Are there other boutique pedals modeled in that thing? That is just cool. I'm surprised, guess I've been living under a log. I can imagine Brassmasters, etc, but the BB is more obscure I thought. I use my BB religiously but haven't used a multi-effect like the Zoom in ages. To me that's a pretty big prop for the BB…..Having owned the Xotic Bass BB Preamp AND the Zoom, I can say the Zoom BB is one of the models where they got nearly the same character as the original. It's an excellent sound.
How about dialling in the grit on the amp and then rolling off the volume control on your bass when you want a clean sound?Anyone would say "simply push the gain of the head to get the grit"...but I love powerful, punchy, round clean sound I get from it. I don't want to sacrifice that as I switch a lot between clean and drive during songs.
You spelled "Nathan" wrong![]()

I am looking for a good "mild" "growly" "tubey" OD to get with a pedal. BUT also without losing any Low-End, nor punch, nor "width" of my original tone..in one word, "transparent".
Hello. Try a Tim pedal by Paul Cochrane. If you can't find one (likely), then try a Timmy.
Good luck!
