Always try to run the pod on full output. That's what I've always heard anyways.

to get the two modeled outs do I just stick a adapter into the phones socket? and then both outs become modeled versus modeled and direct?

Good stuff so far.
I'm wondering if anyone has found a way to run the PODxt in such a way as to have the effects(and or head) come out from one output to be sent to an onstage amp and have effects/head/cab/mic sent to another out to be run to a mixer for the PA? I'd like to run effects and head models for my rig on stage through my cab but then have the cab model added just for the FOH mix. Otherwise I either have to go without cab modeling for the FOH or go with the cab model running through my cab which I don't really care for.
Any ideas?

FWIW:

with the bean anyway, to my knowledge those are your options (at least using one pod). The models are either on or off.

So, if I wanted to record things on my PC, would I be better off buying the bean or the Live version?
