Double Bass The Quick/Stupid Question Thread

There's been quite a few times here that I've had just a stupid quick question and nowhere to post it due to the unwritten Zombie thread/ derail/ search function rules so I thought I'd make a thread for simple questions. I'm posting it in the rockabilly subforum because I'd love to see it get more active here. I know there's a few slappers here, (I slap it whenever I get the chance) so lets talk about our slapping problems together.

My quick question: I just need to know if the first chord to Jump Jive and Wail is a Bb7? In Hatton's book, he shows you what he calls his Jump Jive and Wail riff which is: Bb, D, f, G, A, G, f, D. Playing along with the song it sounds more like an Ab instead of A but I can't find chords online that are specific enough so I was hoping someone here knew the answer.

Dumb Question Number 2: Is there a time change in the song, "Burnin' Love"? I'm making a cheat sheet of the song (a sort of lee rocker/elvis hybrid) and I'm missing something in the chorus part...the B, A, G with the little fill after? I hear the fill after those 3 chords as A,B,A,E,D,B,A in 16th notes but something seems to be missing. I've looked for a sheet to verify but everything online will only let me look at the first page unless I buy it.

Dumb question #3: What's the term for when you only use the notes in the key of a song and nothing else. I know it's in one of my books but I can't find it.

BTW: I figured out the answer to dumb question #2 long ago
