There's been quite a few times here that I've had just a stupid quick question and nowhere to post it due to the unwritten Zombie thread/ derail/ search function rules so I thought I'd make a thread for simple questions. I'm posting it in the rockabilly subforum because I'd love to see it get more active here. I know there's a few slappers here, (I slap it whenever I get the chance) so lets talk about our slapping problems together.
My quick question: I just need to know if the first chord to Jump Jive and Wail is a Bb7? In Hatton's book, he shows you what he calls his Jump Jive and Wail riff which is: Bb, D, f, G, A, G, f, D. Playing along with the song it sounds more like an Ab instead of A but I can't find chords online that are specific enough so I was hoping someone here knew the answer.
