He's still there. I'm looking at him out my window right now. The sound of ripping flesh from the carcase is really loud. I can hear it through closed windows. I was maybe 10 feet away taking the pictures and he didn't seem to mind.A Golden Eagle?....

They don't survive long in the Adirondacks....Obviously a feral Adirondack chicken.....rarely seen in urban environments.
