Been exploring Blues a bit this week amongst other things.
Got tired ages ago of just banging out basslines to 1-4-5 chord progressions with a shuffle beat.
Went deeper into jazz Blues and more exotic progressions.
Had fun.

The material world is testing me.
I have a job offer, out of the blue, as of last night. It would require a move from Sacramento to Indianapolis. I would be moving away from my 14 year old daughter, who means the world to me. I also have no friends or family remotely close to that area. My home situation is not an issue. I could leave now and not regret that occurrence. It would be in a field I haven't worked ( not a bad thing as it would be mentally challenging ). I really enjoy what I do, but it does leave me living an austere life.
The job pays more than double what I currently make.
