Aim me at a nice piece of smoked haddock with a couple of poached eggs and a few slices of Hovis however....

Long ago i lived a short hour -45 ( actually the road there was horrible) from Stonington. The offerings from your son's link will garner some sales, from now 1250 miles south.

I thought all your folk ate kippers with every breakfast and that everyday was a full, complete English breakfast

And then after that it's nothing but roast beef and Yorkshire pud or steak and kidney pud with mash and jellied eels.....Hungry now.....

I know you meant "pudding", but in America "pud" is not something most of us want to eat.

Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding is a fine meal. Some of those great recipes were staples in New England in my youth, anyways. Prefer my steak and kidney as a pie but the presentation differs in form but flavor....

I am game for jellied eels but would prefer my first taste to be authentic, in the 'old world'.
