That's a good "call back" about the HD. You're on point today! And every day, of course...
Never occurred to me to document the furniture thing but it is for real. That goes back to my having an old analogue TV, you know when they were 24" deep? I would watch that thing at night drinking, and presumably I got annoyed like that guy watching the Sex Pistols back in the day, who likewise concluded the tv itself was the problem.
I'd wake up after a drunk and be, like, where's the TV? Eventually to find it on the side of the house in the garbage pail. After awhile I stopped wondering when I woke up and just went around the side of the house to fetch it.
