Makes sense that unisex uniforms are on the horizon, as virtually all sci fi foresees a future with only one toga.
I used to think this was a function of frugal Hollywood costuming budgets. But the idea of a viral defense body suit (VDBS) really answers the question of why individuation in clothing is predicted to wane.
