Actually, the DB side would be a good place to hang. I need to get inspired to practice the upright so that I could do a gig with it if an opportunity arose. I have always wanted to and just felt short of confidence to do it. It is easy to make things sound bad if you half-ass it.
My ears would appreciate an acoustic situation over amplified.

I can save you the trouble of venturing over there. Every advice sought thread starts and ends with “Get a teacher”

That is is not bad advice really...if your ready to be taught.
I tried getting teacher once for DB in the late '70s and did not last but a couple of lessons. I did not have any Ah-ha moments with him (kinda the same with a vocal teacher) and did not do the homework before the next lesson. I guess I was not ready to have a revelation as to what I'm doing wrong. A lot of times I don't catch the idea until WAY after someone tries to drill an idea into my head. Anyway...back to random.
