Continuing with my previous posts, I'll use this thread to "journal" my visions

Saw a hand coming out of a giant poppy flower in a dark room and reaching out to grab something kept on the sill of a blinded window letting in thin streams of golden twilight.

I had a profound and enlightening idea this morning while in the shower. And by the time I dried myself off, it was gone. I'm pretty sure it is still in the towel. I'll retrieve it later.

I thought the maples inherited the earth after rising against the oaks who grabbed up all the light.

There is unrest in the forest
There is trouble with the trees
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas

The trouble with the maples
And they're quite convinced they're right
They say the oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light
But the oaks can't help their feelings
If they like the way they're made
And they wonder why the maples
Can't be happy in their shade?

There is trouble in the forest
And the creatures all have fled
As the maples scream, "oppression"
And the oaks just shake their heads

So the maples formed a union
And demanded equal rights
"The oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light"
Now there's no more oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet
Axe
And saw

Having just tried a snack pack of the frozen TGI-Fridays mozzarella sticks, I sincerely hope not. Having never in my life been in a TGI-Fridays, I have no idea whether they're anything like what they serve in their locations. Their sauce packet was weird-smelling enough that I jettisoned that in favor of some organic marinara sauce we had in the fridge, so I think I made the right call on that, at least.

Let us (ok, me) pray:

O @5StringBlues, patron saint of TB cheesiness, look with mercy upon thy subject, and grant this humble prayer for untroubled intestines. Let me not befoul the atmosphere, alienate my spouse, and be forced to post from atop the porcelain convenience. We (ok, I) ask this of thee, in thy benevolent pimp hat. Amen.
