I've had technical AAS degrees for a while, but I still want to complete a BA or BS degree and get dem credential$.
There is that universal language that has always given me trouble in school, and I now want to major in it. Mathematics. How stupid am I?

I got a D in my last college math class, which was some advanced trig crap. But, I was taking three other difficult classes at the time. This time, I would only do one class at a time. I think I can do that. Maybe.

I applied to University for math. Not sure what happens now. Probably remedial math courses.
What happens next? You change your major, at least once. That's pretty normal.

But remember this. Unless you get extremely lucky, whatever you do you will be doing for 40 years - it needs to be something you like. Part of your tuition goes for things like Career Services. Use it.
Yep. I'll second that emotion.
Even now if I fire up some of his early hits:- although there is a little bit of an element of 50's cornyness because of the song structure, there is also still a big element of magic about his playing.
His guitar licks were definitely alluring.
I think that if they'd used the recording techniques back then that are available now he would have sounded even better.
Isn't it funny to think that what sounds corny now was really innovative at the time?
I was talking to my nephew about Hendrix. He quite likes Hendrix, but sort of in the way I like Glenn Miller or Count Basie. He can play Hendrix stuff pretty well, and enjoys doing it, but he finds it difficult to understand the level of innovation the man brought to Guitar playing, because obviously he's 3 generations removed, musically, and all his influences had already absorbed the Hendrix stuff.
He absolutely couldn't grasp why Chuck Berry was considered a "Guitar Great."
