I need to take a vacation. I am not rich. Where should I go?

Have you ever taken a vacation where you live? Most people live in a town and never go see all the things a tourist would go see in your town. It really can be a fun way to take a vacation. If not, then Martha's Vineyard, but it is a bit early in the season there.
