I've been looking online for some tapewounds that aren't real expensive &/or don't have outrageous shipping costs--keeping in mind I am in Canada.

I recently discovered that the price of NYXLs at Long and McQuade is the same as the price from bass strings online (adjusted for exchange).

Except they are tapewoounds--the only tapewounds I see on their site are Rorsounds--and locally I haven't seen them.
I saw some tapewounds when I bought the bass--but nothing a few months later--I should have bought some ahead of time to try.
the strings on now are okay though so there's no urgency...
I'll keep looking.
