I should have taken your advice and preemptively pulled the trigger on 4Mal's (now MaddAnthony's) orange P/J, and then sold my red 'Fish to pay for it. Just had to do things in the proper order, didn't I?

I dunno. The Scheff looks mighty sweet and will serve up some major tone flexibility. From what I've heard on sound clips and opinions from people I respect, I think I'd be pretty doggone happy with either one.

It'll definitely be different from anything else I have. Active electronics, lipstick pickups, strings through the body. At the end of the day, two identical Reverends (color aside) is enough. I'll always be on the lookout for a P/J, though..

It was supposed to be here today, but alas...no bass and checking the tracking on DHL's site...it went from Ohio to Michigan...***??
