Thanks for the nice feedback on the Blackfish... when I ordered it back in '99 I stared at the brochure for weeks before finally deciding on black/maple. I almost got the dark blue, or the off-white, or....

Is that just permanent markered onto the finish or underneath the cleear-coat?

Permanent marker, but why it would be gone now is weird. When I had my second made for my 5L, Joe signed it for me and one of the other guys added the serial number.

Yessir, that location is not really a "wear location," where it would get rubbed off readily.

Having said that, I believe at least one of my 5 is nearly faded beyond recognition.

It's a hot bass and I'll miss it, but I might have something new coming around the bend.. stay tuned..
