OK, I thought long and hard about this. Got ol' Thumpy out last night and played it for a while.

I just can't sell Thumpy. That bass is too darn special.

I was resigned to watching someone else land the Red 'fish, but I sent a link to the for sale thread so my wife could see pics (she loves 'fish). She said to jump on it. Insisted, actually. My 40th B-day is tomorrow, and she said I'm saving her the trouble of shopping. I already got a rig for my B-day, but the original agreement was that I would use gig money to pay for it, and I guess that makes it not completely a "present," so . . .

My wife is the greatest.
